Henley Hockey Club is one of the main Oxfordshire clubs providing regular coaching, training and matches for boys and girls aged from 4 to 18 years old. Coaching and training for these players is organised and carried out by qualified hockey coaches working with other club members and parents to help develop our future club and representative players.

In recent years we have produced a number of high quality youth players (both boys and girls), a number of whom have gone on to play at County, Regional and at National levels.

Training for 2026-2027
Training takes place at at Henley's Jubilee Park, near Tesco on Reading Road.

First session: Sunday 6 September 2026
Autumn Half Term: Sunday 25 October 2026 (NO training)
Christmas Break: Sunday 20 and 27 December 2026 (NO training)
Training resumes: Sunday 3 January 2027
Spring Half Term: Sunday 14 February 2027 (NO training)
Last session and end of season awards: Sunday 28 March 2027

Training takes place as follows:

• U6 Mixed (Years Reception & 1): 9.00am - 9.45am
• U8 Mixed (Years 2-3): 9.00am - 10.00am
• U10 Girls (Years 4-5): 10.00am - 11.30am
• U12 Girls (Years 6-7): 11.30am - 1.00pm
• U10 Boys (Years 4-5): 1.00pm - 2.30pm
• U12 Boys (Years 6-7): 1.00pm - 2.30pm
• U14 Boys (Years 8-9): 1.00pm - 2.30pm
• U14 Girls (Years 8 -9): 2.30pm - 4.00pm
• U16 Girls (Years 10-11): 4.00pm - 5.30pm
• U16 Boys (Years 10-11): 4.00pm - 5.30pm
• U18 Mixed (Years 12-13): 4.00pm - 5.30pm

All players, once they turn 13 years of age, are eligible to attend the senior club training sessions and will be invited to do so on an individual basis.
