This was a physically demanding match; the overall strength of the opposition was greater than Henley's and they had a large squad which allowed them to bring on fresh legs regularly. Henley had many chances to score in the 1st half but they went begging. Sarah Evans in Henley's goal had a stormer ensuring that Hawks were unable to break though at the other end. Henley took the lead in the 2nd half when Harriet Lewis scored her first of the season. This was followed up with a second coming from a Kat Green penalty corner. As Henley tired and made a couple of mistakes, Hawks were able to get back in to the match and level the score. Undaunted, Henley conntinued to push forward with confidence and won more penalty corners. It was from one of them that Sarah Drummond popped up at the far post to slot away the winner. Henley are to be commended for their team spirit and the effort they put in for each other. For the second week running, Livvy George was awarded Player of the Match and Harriet Lewis the Champagne moment but for her goal this week and not goal keeping saves!
