Henley Men’s 2s bounced back in style this week to secure a vital three points, running out deserved winners in what ultimately proved to be a comfortable victory.
Goals from Richard Woolfrey, Brandon Smith and Robert Farina ensured Henley were always in the driving seat, with Smith’s strike the standout moment of the match. An excellently executed short-corner routine saw Henley play one touch hockey between three players, carving open the circle before calmly finishing, with no response from the BHHHC defence.
Berkhamsted & Hemel Hempstead played some good hockey throughout the match and pulled a goal back with a well-worked move of their own to stay in the contest, but Henley saw out the game well to claim a convincing win.
