The Young Guns development team played their opening match of the Summer League season at home at Henley on Tuesday. With 8 of the squad aged only 12 years, a fixture against an experienced Harlow team was always going to be tough for the young side. This was an impressive start however for the young side who conceded only 1 goal and demonstrated some strong, determined play. With the experience of Rachel Herbert, Hannah Lavis and Kat Rutland from the Ladies 1s guiding the girls from the back, the Young Guns held their structure well and put the oppo under real pressure. A promising start from the young team.
