Mayor Kellie Hinton braved persistent rain to attend some of our junior training sessions on Mothering Sunday.

The Mayor watched the U10s training session take place first, during which around 60 of the 75 registered players were taking part in mini matches. U10s Lead Coach Kat Green invited her to present the Player of the Week awards at the end of the session, handing them to Bea Dixon-Wright, Sable Green, George Austin and Wilfred Tomlinson.

Darcy Buckham-Hedges and Max Mortimer presented her with flowers and a digital photo frame pre-loaded with some photos of the Henley juniors, and Kellie added said would use to display photos of all Henley's junior sports club at the Town Hall.

The Mayor stayed a little longer to watch the start of the U12s session during which Club President-Elect Rachel Herbert and Chairman Jon Grocock chatted with her and explained how the junior section of the club works.
