Men’s Team of the Year - Men's 1s
It won’t come as much of a surprise that the Men’s team of the season, for their bounce-back league win and promotion to Premier Division 1, is the Men's 1s.

Men's 1s MVP - Adam Herbert
Adam has played with maturity well above his years. He’s been extremely committed to both training and matches (missing only one match all season), has been a calm and assuring presence at the back with superb reading of the game, and has shown that the future is very bright for Henley Hockey Club.

Men's 2s MVP - Robbie Farina
Robbie has been a game changer and a game winner all season.His immensely relaxed warm up and minimal care for shin pads give the impression he’d rather be anywhere else, but when the whistle goes he’s an oppositions nightmare. He’s also the team’s top goal scorer.

Men's 3s MVP - Tony Conway-Hughes
Tony has been the standout player in a defence which has been very, very busy this season! Ferocious in the tackle, and with a keen eye for turning defence into attack, he has been one of the 3s regular players this season and plays with an incredible consistency.

Men's 4s MVP - Tomas Chamberlain
Tomas is a young player who has grown in stature, confidence and skill this year and has kept us in games we ought not to have been as competitive in, giving the rest of the team confidence.

Men's 5s MVP - Ed Newbold
The Men's 5s didn't have a consistent GK at the start of the season and, instead of taking time off due to injury, Ed padded up for most of our matches. Not only did he step up but he was blooming good between the sticks and great at directing the defence.

Men’s top goal scorer - Ed Foster
With with 26 league goals.

Coach of the Year - Grant Hunt
Grant joined us a couple of years ago and has helped create an environment in the 1s where youngsters can flourish amongst what is an amazing group of quality players who’ve served the club for years. His impact has extended beyond the Men's 1s to the coaching of the Men's 3s, 4s and 5s, putting in the work in to make sessions engaging and rewarding, and to the coaching of our umpires.

Men’s Club Person of the Year - Phil Biggs
Without Phil's efforts, we simply wouldn’t have got the new pitch! He’s in charge of sponsorship for the club; he does all of our accounting; liaises with the council; negotiates with AFC; and, at the end of last season, took on all the management of the Men’s 4s.

Youth Club Person of the Year - Adam Herbert
Adam throws himself in to all aspects of club life. As well as playing, he helps coach and is an excellent umpire. Adam stands out as a role model to youngsters in the club.

Women's Team of the Year - Women's 4s
With an atmosphere quite unlike any I’ve ever seen – of support, nurture, encouragement, teamwork - all capped off with some great play, an incredible goal tally, a league win and promotion.

Women's 1s MVP - Emma Joseph
Emma has been a key figure in a successful year back in south prem one for the Women's 1s. She has been incredibly consistent at the heart of the midfield, covering, tackling, intercepting and passing - she’s always in the right place to help the team.

Women's 2s MVP - Sophie Miller
No matter what position she’s been asked to play – and there have been many – Sophie does it well and with positivity, enthusiasm and commitment. Her versatility has been brilliant and so valuable to the team.

Women's 3s MVP - Emily Matthews
A standout presence through her consistency, commitment, and infectious positivity. She turns up to every training session ready to work, and her improvement has been clear for everyone to see. On the pitch, her blistering speed has made her a constant threat, helping her score and create crucial goals.

Women's 4s MVP - Isla Hallett
Isla has grown in confidence throughout the season and is noted for her enthusiasm and encouragement of both the young and the more ‘Vintage’ players. She is a rock steady influence and is developing in to a mini version of her mentor, Kat Green!

Women’s Top Goal Scorer - Chloe Lyons
With 25 league goals.

Women's Club Person of the Year - Kat Green
Back at the start of the season, when we didn’t have a pitch, Kat managed to secure us the use of Shiplake – who weren’t even renting theirs out! Kat had to be insitu whenever we were there, and that was on top of her work as Director of Youth Hockey and Junior Coach, the coaching she does for the Women's 4s and the support she gives to others – as well as her playing!

Umpire of the Year - Tim Barrass
Tim wasn’t really an umpire at the start of the season - he kind of got sucked in… and never found a way to escape! He’s proved himself to be a really good umpire who is an asset to Henley - and he recently also got his qualification signed off. Umpiring all levels from Juniors to the Men's 2s Tim is an asset to the umpiring team.

Men's Youth Player of the Year (17-25) - Fergus Heggie
Despite ending the season lame, this year’s Youth player had really found his form prior to his injury. Cementing his place in the Men’s 1s where his fitness, pace, and over all commitment won him a consistent place at right back.

Women's Youth Player (17-25) - Billie Moore
Billie has gone from strength to strength this season. With formidable tackles, superb enthusiasm and the ability to play with a hangover.

Grow Your Own (15-21) - Jamie Taylor
Jamie has played for Henley right from the start. This season he’s spearheaded the U16s, put in standout performances in the Men’s 2s and gained his first run out for the Men's 1s.
