Henley’s Academy section celebrated its End of Season Awards during the course of a sunny Mothering Sunday at the end of March. Over 310 girls and boys aged 4 to 18 have played for the various junior age groups this season. The U8s, U10s and U12s have all taken part in monthly Thames Valley Mini Tournaments, with the U12s also taking part in the new South Central Leagues. The U14s, U16s and U18s have played in South Central Leagues and also the England Hockey Cup Competitions. The U10s and U12s also took part in the England Hockey In2Hockey county championships at the end of the season, with the U12 Girls winning their tournament and the U10 Boys coming runners up in theirs, which means both teams progress to the South Central Regionals later this month.
