Henley started stronger and took an early lead via Kiera Halloran in the second minute of the game. Henley continued to pile on the pressure and player of the match Emma Walker smashed the ball in to make it 2-0. With a quick break captain Georgie Metcalfe got on the end of a through ball and skilfully took it round the keeper to give Henley a dominant lead at half time. Henley continued the second half as they started the first. Keira Halloran netted her second of the match getting onto the end of a well worked cross. Sophie Hoskins made in 5-0 as the ball broke to her at the top of the D from a short corner. The Henley defence remained strong despite several threatening counterattacks from the away team. The last 5 minutes saw Louisa England knock the ball in after a deflected cross and Charlotte Cockerton finished the scoring with a last minute goal. 7-0 was the final score with Henley hoping to build on this next week when they travel to face Wycombe.
