Henley 4s Stun Local Rivals

Henley needed a win to secure third place and the chance of promotion. Leading 2-1 with 2 first-half goals by Tim Cima, the team were very much aware that one slip and the momentum would swing back towards Sonning.

From the start of the seconds half, Sonning were on the front foot looking for a goal, and within the first 5 minutes they equalised. Henley were determined not to be defeated, and set about trying to take the lead back from Sonning. It was not long before Cima scored another excellent goal to take Henley back in to the lead. Sonning tried to equalise, but were repulsed by Henley. Meanwhile Cima and Simon Taylor scored two more goals to put the game beyond reach for Sonning.
