Henley 4s had another disappointing defeat as they struggled to get their first win of the season.
In the second game of the season the 4s came up against an experienced side.
Ramgarhia took a lead halfway into the first half with a strong short corner in the to the bottom of the Henley goal.
Ramgarhia doubled their lead 10 minutes later as a well-worked goal sliced through the Henley defence. This second goal provoked Henley attacks. Nico Cheesman jumped at the opportunity of a counter attack and provided a well-worked ball to Ewan Watkins who converted into the bottom corner.
After half time many attacks lead to nothing until a Ramgarhia attack down the right wing resulted in chaos in the Henley back four. The ball ricocheted inside the D until a lucky deflection pushed the ball over the despairing reach of Jason Chan in goal.
The rest of the half gained many chances but neither side could find the final pass. Henley were on top but they lacked the final ball on most occasions. Attack after attack resulted in a disappointing end as Ramgarhia’s experienced defence held strong
In the final minute Henley gained a short corner. They knew the game was lost but this did not stop Alan Mortimer rolling a shot over the keepers stick.
