we're down to the last 3 games of the season but the next 2 are crucial for us if we're to capitalise on the excellent work since October. This week we host Sonning 3s who also have much to play for at the other end of the table - their 2s are safe in the league above so you never know who might turn up against us.
What we can't have happen is that we drift into this game thinking it'll be easy. If we combine that mentality with the standard of finishing and general gamecraft from last week we will get frustrated. The same principles apply as every week - robust press and move the ball forward.
Same team as last week except Geoff goes back to the 1s, Liam is back after illness, and Dave won't have food poisoning.

Lastly, the usual request for umpiring assistance has been made for the 3pm game after ours. Volunteers please step forward and avoid paying a match fee. I'd rather not guilt anyone into it but expect another reminder tomorrow if I have to!
