we're half way through a good season but with lots of work to do. Our first game for 2016 is against Abingdon who are 7th in the table but still have a positive goal difference which means that they are they are no mugs in front of goal and lose only narrowly. We need to pick up where we left off in 2015, remembering a few principles: show we're in control, be difficult to play against, and pick our moments to attack.
You'll notice a couple of changes in personnel: John-Joe has been honest with himself and me and decided that a run in the 3s will allow him to regain some confidence. Sam is sitting this week out to give his back a chance to heal. We welcome Liam who has been making a great impact in the 3s and now has his chance to push himself and be supported in doing so by more experienced and/or older players in the 2s. Matt, who we have seen before, is also with us this week.
