Henley pegged back by breakaway goals

Jubilee Park was a site to behold,
The fans gathered and waited for the story to unfold.
Many a battle has gone down the wire
The sun was out and Taylor's face was on fire.

The pre match Geoff ball was of a decent standard,
But we'd barely finished playing before Hughes-Burne had a card.
Foster got the squad fired up and was quite blunt,
When he got to the point: 'let's mess up those c***s

The game itself was an even affair,
With Walter throwing in his usual ridiculous amount of flair,
But OCs took the lead with a breakaway goal,
It was pretty boring. I can't even remember it.

Anyway, Joyce decided finally to get involved,
It seemed that maybe Henley's problems were going to be solved.
January signing Land started blistering move down the right hand side,
And Gupta couldn't have missed even if he had tried.

At half time interim had to say his bit,
'They're a bunch of c***s, so don't be sh*t (ballbag)
However, the second half just didn't really go to plan,
Coxy came out of his line and nearly killed a man.
The flick went in and it was a kick in the throat,

But Henley are never out of a game when they've got the GOAT.
Henley pressed forward and OCs lost their way,
It seemed half their players didn't want to play.
3 yellows later and camped in their D,
It seemed a Henley comeback just had to be.

But some guy from OC who thinks he's good,
Thought he'd put Henley to bed if he could
Rob Rowe tried his best to chop the guy down,
But instead he got his own pants pulled down, and then Coxy just sort of laid down.

3-1 was absolutely not a fair reflection,
And Henley were desperate for 3 points for the collection,
Once again questions were raised of the long standing interim,
His future prospects? 'slim'
