Second game

A brilliant result 4-0 win away. The goals came from Ian Rechner in midfield (3) and Henry Davis playing right wing. However, it was a very balanced game with all the team involved. We tried 3 standard formations throughout the game, starting with 4 up front (3-3-4), which works well gaining our first 2 goals for Rechner. We then moved to the more traditional sweeper formation (4-3-3), but with no more goals coming switched to midfield strategy (3-4-3) which brought about a goal from Henry Davis, and another from Ian Rechner from a short corner. Apart from a ball to the nose for co-captain Furness, the match was fair and the result well deserved. Great crowd support for the parents (Davis, Hems and Shaw), thank you! Keeping a clean sheet in goal the Man of the Match went to Joe Sylvester.
