Insurance Info


The following list shows exactly the insurance Henley Hockey Club has and it is important you read and understand it and if you feel you require additional, potentially personal cover, you should arrange this yourself.

•If you have not paid your subscription you are not insured under the club insurance policy.
•If you only wish to train with Henley Hockey Club you will need to join as a Social Member so that you are covered by the club insurance
•NO ONE, be they player, social member, colt or anyone else is covered for PERSONAL INJURY or ACCIDENT under this insurance scheme.
•Public Liability Insurance for hockey activities £10 Million
•Directors & Officers Liability is covered in the above.
•HHC has cover for injury to Non-Members so we are covered for a short period for new players. This is limited to 2 months from the date the Non-Member plays for the first time be that match or training.
•Machinery, Contents, Fixtures & Fittings £20,000
•Stock £5,000
•Goods in Transit (Annual carryings) £100,000
•Money on Premises £7,500
•Money in Safe £2,000
•Public & Products Liability (non hockey) £2 Million
•Commercial Legal Protection – Indemnity Limit £50,000
•Standard cover based on wage roll £10,000

PLEASE NOTE:

•If you are running a tournament or going on tour then full details must be passed to the Committee for prior approval by our insurers.
•Anyone coaching or umpiring for Henley Hockey Club needs to be approved by the Club committee so that we meet the relevant insurance requirements. A list of approved personnel under this category will be kept by the Club Secretary.
•Any injuries must be reported to Caroline Jones (for Insurance) and Trish Heggie (Accident Book) Such reports to include the names of both umpires officiating at the game at the time of the incident.

The Henley Hockey Club Insurance does NOT cover the following:

•Personal Injury or Accident
•Computers
•Business All Risks
•Frozen Food
•Engineering both Non Inspection & Inspection
•Contractors All Risk
•Employee Dishonesty
•Book Debts
•Loss of Licence
•Terrorism
•Employers Liability
•Professional Indemnity
•Group Personal Accident or Sickness cover
•Business Travel

There are many insurance excesses HHC has to pay should a claim be made.
