Extract from the Constitution of Oxfordshire Hockey Association

Constitution

The Association shall be called the Oxfordshire Hockey Association and shall consist of hockey clubs whose grounds are located within the County as defined by Rule 8 of the English Hockey Association.

The Oxfordshire Hockey Association shall be affiliated to the English Hockey Association under their rules.  It shall comprise the Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Hockey Umpires Association, the Oxfordshire Hockey Umpires Association, the Oxfordshire Youth Hockey Association and all Clubs and other Associations which may from time to time affiliate to it directly. All shall be bound by the Rules of the Association and those of the English Hockey Association.

Objects

The objects of the Association are to promote, encourage and develop amateur hockey, both outdoor and indoor, at all levels in the County.

Colours

The playing colours of the Association shall be:

All Association teams and affiliated Clubs shall adopt the practice that where shirt colours clash, the visiting team shall change.

Players who have represented the County at senior or youth level at either outdoor or indoor hockey in an inter-county tournament shall be entitled to wear a badge as approved by the Management Committee of the Association. In addition County colours may be awarded by the Management Committee as considered appropriate.
