On a scorching summer evening, the Young Guns team had to dig deep against a physical and vocal Wokingham side. In the first half, the youngsters commanded the game controlling much of the play and generating attack after attack on the Wokingham D. The heat of the night however began to take its toll on both sides and gaps started to appear in the defence of the teams. The Young Guns were able to soak up the pressure and it was a well worked play out of defence that generated their goal scoring opportunity in the last 5 minutes of play. Emily Pitcher, who had worked tirelessly in attack, was rewarded with the winning goal.
