Title holders Henley Men's Vets take on Jersey in the semi-final of the NOW: Pensions Masters' Over 40s Trophy this Sunday at Jubilee Park

Defending champions Henley Men's Vets take on Jersey in the semi-final of the NOW: Pensions Masters' Over 40s Trophy this Sunday.

For the second year in a row Henley have been blessed with a run which has seen both quarter and semi-final draws at home to opposition making long journeys.

In beating Epsom, Northampton, Bournemouth and Gore Court en route to the semi, Henley have scored 17 and conceded 7. The biggest victory was the 8-2 demolition of Gore Court in the quarter final, but the semi against Jersey is likely to prove a sterner test.

Jersey, entering the Trophy competition after a narrow defeat to Trojans in the first round of the HA Cup, have had a storming campaign. On the back of a run in which they had scored 20 goals and conceded just five and well-used to long trips to away fixtures, Jersey defeated Merseyside hopefuls Formby 4-1 in the quarter final.

Push-back is at 1.15pm.
