Henley Academy hockey goes from strength to strength with the latest news that Nico Cheesman and Fred Newbold have been selected for South JRPC.

Nico Cheesman and Fred Newbold are two young players with a promising future in hockey. Following a successful season at Henley, they have both received the news from England Hockey that they have been selected for South Junior Regional Performance Centres at U17.

Selection is made based on performance at the Junior Academy Centres - and both Nico and Fred fought off tough competition to get selected for JRPC.

Their selection puts them in to Tier 1 of the JRPC where they will receive top level coaching and competition experience and a chance to secure a place in the Tier 2 High Performance Assessment Camps - fingers crossed for the boys who have a bright future ahead.
